HVISK X HEDVIG MOBERG

HVISK ATELIER is a place to be creative - and to get inspired. We at HVISK meet a lot of artists on social media and in our ATELIER we ask them to interpret our collections and express them through their art. Their interpretations inspire us to look at our collections and what we do in a different way - and hopefully they inspire you too.

For this ATELIER collaboration we teamed up with the Swedish and Stockholm based girl, Hedvig Moberg. We had a chat with her about her work and the art work she did for us.

HVISK: WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?

HEDVIG: I am currently studying visual communication at Beckmans College of Design. Besides school I work as a freelance art director/creator mainly within the music and fashion industry.

HVISK: WHAT IS YOUR CREATIVE MEDIUM?

HEDVIG: Everything digital I would say - I really think the digital world is intriguing. It keeps me inspired and curious about the future.

HVISK: WHAT DOES HVISK MEAN TO YOU?

HEDVIG: HVISK for me is a contemporary brand with consciousness at its core who uses playfulness to elevate Scandinavian minimalism.

HVISK: WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION FOR THE ART WORK?

HEDVIG: In my art I want explore humans - social media online relation, and how we all create, explore and relate to each others cyber reality with alter egos representing who we are or want to be. For this project I took inspiration from social media and those cyber realities we all create on these platforms. What we see is not necessarily as simple as “true” or “fake” and I want to push this idea with my ”cyber wardrobe”. With a society turning into a more digital one, in the near future we might all have to dress digital and maybe have our own cyber wardrobe.
